About MoreLove
Founded in 2024
MoreLove started when a group of community members, local business owners, and neighbors recognized the need for more inclusive spaces in their town, especially for those from marginalized groups. These leaders came together to form MoreLove, a Morehead, Kentucky–based nonprofit serving marginalized folks.
Together, MoreLove’s co-founders shaped the organization’s foundation: Eli Banks (they/he/she) developed the mission, bylaws, and organizational infrastructure as a New Leaders Council capstone project, while the co-founding team built the real-world support that brought the vision to life.
Now, through direct support, advocacy, and community events, we work to create welcoming, affirming spaces where all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.
We believe in the power of compassionate action to create meaningful change.

Every Donation Creates Direct Impact
Become a Member
Step 1: Get involved! Once you’ve actively participated twice you’re eligible for membership. So sign up to volunteer with a committee & subscribe to our email list to stay in the loop!
Step 2: Apply! Request & complete a membership application. Typically done at monthly group meetings.
Step 3: Get introduced! Your membership will be confirmed at a monthly group meeting.
Step 4: Share responsibility! Stay engaged, contribute to discussions, and help build a safe, supportive, and inclusive community.
